A 20-minute documentary I produced following artist Anne Desmet RA, as she creates her latest piece: The Engraver's Tower. The documentary shows her process, techniques and influences on her work. The tower represents her life, career, and everything that's made her the person she is today. The piece was commissioned as part of the celebrations of the Society of Wood Engravers' 100th anniversary.
This 20-minute documentary follows Anne Desmet, R.A. as she creates her largest engraving yet: "The Engraver's Tower" - as special one-off commission for the centenary year of the Society of Wood Engravers. During this film, she also discusses how she found wood engraving, and her inspirations and significant moments in her artistic career.
